1.According to the spinning process
Combed Yarn: Yarn spun through the combing process. It is compared with combed yarn, the material is better, the fibers in the yarn are straight and parallel, the yarn quality is excellent, the fineness of the yarn is finer.
Rough combed yarn: yarn spun through the general spinning process. Also called combed yarn, cotton and wool spinning slightly different.
2.According to the fiber length of the composition of the yarn
Filament yarn: one or more continuous filament yarn formed by merging, twisting or deformation process.
Short fiber yarn: short fibers are twisted and spun into yarn with a certain fineness, which can be divided into three kinds.
① cotton type yarn: from raw cotton or cotton fibers in the cotton spinning equipment, pure spinning or blended spinning processed yarn.
② long fiber-type yarn: processed by the medium-length fibers in the cotton spinning or special equipment, with - the yarn.
③ wool-type yarn: from wool fibers or wool-type fibers in the wool spinning equipment pure spinning or blended spinning processed yarn.
Filament staple fiber combination yarn: yarns spun by staple fibers and filaments using special methods, such as core yarn, wrapped yarn, etc..
3.According to the composition of the fiber type of yarn
Pure spinning yarn: yarn spun from one kind of fiber is called pure spinning yarn. Named with the word "pure" and fiber name, such as pure polyester yarn, pure cotton yarn;
Blended yarn: with two or more than two kinds of fibers mixed into the yarn.
Blended yarn naming rules are: raw material blending ratio is different at the same time, the proportion of large in the first; proportion of the same, according to natural fibers, synthetic fibers, regenerative fibers in order. Writing, the proportion of raw materials and fiber types written together, raw materials, proportions separated by a semicolon "/". Such as polyester / cotton (65 / 35) yarn, wool / nitrile (50 / 50) yarn, polyester / viscose (50 / 50) yarn.
Cross-twisted yarn: two or more different fibers or different colors of single yarn twisted together into a yarn.
Blended Yarn: Yarns made by using two kinds of filaments and combining them to improve certain aspects of performance.
4.According by dyeing and finishing
Original Color Yarn: Yarn that maintains the original color of the fiber without any dyeing or finishing process.
Bleached yarn: Bleached yarn with whiter color. Usually refers to cotton yarn and hemp yarn.
Dyed yarn: dyed processing, with a variety of colors of yarn.
Color spun yarn: colored fiber spun yarn.
Burnished yarn: yarn with burnished surface.
Mercerized yarn: mercerized yarn, mercerized cotton yarn, mercerized wool yarn. Mercerized cotton yarn is yarn in a certain concentration of lye treatment so that the yarn has a silk general luster and high strength; mercerized woolen yarn is to remove the scales of the fibers in the woolen yarn, so that the yarn is soft, and too irritating to the skin.
5.According to yarn density
Cotton type yarns are categorized into coarse special (No.) yarn, medium special (No.) yarn, fine holding (No.) yarn and extra fine holding (No.) yarn according to their thickness.
Coarse special yarn: refers to yarns with a thread density of 32tex or more.
Medium Special Yarn: refers to yarns with a thread density of 31-21 tex.
Fine special yarn: refers to the yarn with a thread density of 11-20tex or more.
Extra Fine Special Yarn: refers to yarns with a yarn density of 10 tex and below.
6.According to the structure of the yarn shape
Yarn is a continuous length of textile fibers with certain mechanical properties, fineness and softness. What is usually called "yarn" is actually a collective term for "yarn" and "thread".
Generally defined as: yarn is a variety of textile fibers as raw materials made of continuous thread-like objects, it is fine and soft, and has to adapt to the textile processing and end product use of the basic properties required.
In the textile is also often "yarn" and "line" separate definition, that is, "yarn" is a number of staple fibers or filaments arranged into a nearly seemingly line state, and twisted along the axial rotation, composed of a certain strength and line density of the product. Yarn" is a product consisting of a number of staple fibers or filaments arranged in nearly parallel rows and twisted in an axial direction to form a product with a certain strength and density, whereas "thread" is a product consisting of two or more single yarns twisted together, which is referred to as a line or strand.
Yarns can be classified into different types according to different classification bases.
According to the structural shape of the yarn can be roughly divided into 10 kinds of yarn:
Monofilament: refers to a continuous single school of very long length.
Compound filament: refers to a bundle of two or more monofilaments merged together.
Twisted filament: the yarn formed by twisting the compound filament.
Compound twisted wire: twisted wire after - or more merging, twisting that is a compound twisted wire.
Deformation of the silk: chemical fiber raw silk through the deformation process so that it has a curled, spiral, loop and other characteristics of the appearance. The purpose of processing is to increase the fluffy stretch and elasticity of the craftsman. According to take shape at the performance characteristics, there are usually three kinds of elastic yarn, bulky yarn and network yarn.
Mono-Yarn: A continuous length of a single strand formed by spinning of short fibers.
Strand: Two or more single yarns combined and twisted to form. If formed by combining two single yarns, it is called double stranded yarn, and three or more is called multi-stranded yarn. If the strands are twisted together again, it becomes double twisted strand.
Fancy yarn: made by special technology, with special appearance and color of the yarn, including fancy yarn and fancy yarn. It is formed by twisting the core yarn, decorative yarn and solid yarn on the fancy twisting machine, and the surface has special appearance forms or colors such as fiber knots, bamboo knots, rings, braids, spirals, waves, and so on.
Textured Yarn: Textured yarn is a plump yarn with high loft that is processed by using the heat-shrinkage (thermoplastic) property of polypropylene fibers. The low shrinkage property and high shrinkage property of the liplon fiber are mixed in a certain ratio to make the yarn, and then relaxed and thermally shaped. In this way, the high shrinkage fiber shrinks greatly and forms the core, while the low shrinkage fiber shrinks little and is squeezed on the surface to form a due arc, thus producing a fluffy yarn.
Core Yarn: It is the yarn formed by using filament or staple fiber yarn as the core and outsourcing other fibers or yarns.
